What is a podcast or audiocast?
A podcast is audio content - music or words - that can be delivered electronically online. These audio presentations can be sent via email or housed on an internet website. I-tunes is essentially a podcast library.

What is an AIUcast?
An AIUcast is a 10 minute audiocast about a topic of interest to AIU's brokers and clients, including risks, their management, and insurance coverage. The audiocasts are created and presented by experts, many of whom are external to AIG, some of whom are AIG employees. AIUcasts are hosted on a special internet site, www.AIUCasts.com, and are usually available in several languages.

How can I access presentations from www.AIUcasts.com?
You can access information on www.AIUcasts.com in any of three ways: - on your computer - if your computer has speakers, click on the "listen" button next to the audiocast and follow the instructions to listen to it from your office or home computer - on your portable audio or MP3 player (e.g., iPod) - if you prefer to listen from a portable device while in your car, commuting, or jogging, click on the "download" button next to the audiocast and follow the instructions to download it to an iPod or other portable audio player - as a printed document - if it is easier for you to read a printed copy, click on the "print" button next to the audiocast and print it on your local printer

Do I need a subscription or a password?
No, you don't need to subscribe. However, we do ask for your name, company, email address, and country when you request access to an AIUcast. This is in part because some audiocasts cannot be made available in some countries due to insurance regulations.

Are AIUcasts live?
No. Since our brokers and clients are from all over the world, holding a live broadcast isn't practical. So, we've recorded and transcribed the information making it available anytime, anywhere.

Do AIUcasts expire?
No. The audiocasts will remain on the site indefinitely. We will constantly be adding new AIUcasts, and so some of the older ones may be taken off the site eventually.

How will I know if a new AIUcast of interest to me is created?
If we have your email address, we will notify you about each new audiocast as it is added to www.AIUcasts.com. If you would like to be added to the notification list, please click here and request that you get announcements.
